On the first day of qualifying for the 2012 Womens Olympic Trials Marathon, Sheri Piers once again showed she is one of the best and most consistant runners ever from our state! Congratulations to her for making her second appearance at the Oly trials!

YES SHE WAS!

Susannah Beck (Brunswick, ME) finished as second masters woman behind De Reuck in 2:43:18!!! GO Maine.

and according to John Rolfe, Maine Running Columnist Extraordinary, Chris Lundy finished 11th (2:40:06 ) and she was born in Bangor MAINE USA!
